Mike Bannon
Attorney
Practice Areas:
Attorney Mike Bannon is a value-added partner for local businesses. Mike’s practice focuses on employer-side employment law, real estate, and general corporate law, but his real focus is on finding ways to pay for his legal services by saving money for his clients along the way. Mike values the hard work his clients do to earn their money and believes they should get to keep as much of that money as possible.
Mike’s work in employment law centers on advising small business clients on how they can avoid costly litigation by implementing smart business and employment practices that are in compliance with state, federal, and local laws. Likewise, Mike’s real estate and general corporate law representation takes a solutions-based approach to the purchase and sale of real estate and the establishment and development of businesses. However, if problems arise in either arena, Mike is a smart, steadfast, and respected advocate capable of tackling the toughest legal problems.
When Mike isn’t practicing law, he can be found serving on the Board of Directors for Community State Bank or operating local fitness club Razor Sharp Fitness, which he co-owns with his wife. A master of balance, Mike believes in enjoying life outside of the practice of law. He spends his off time driving his collection of motorized vehicles consisting of cars, boats, and motorcycles and vacationing with his wife and children.
Mike is also a skilled mediator, and, when asked to settle a dispute about which football club is Racine’s home team (in light of Soldier Field being 70 miles closer to Racine than Lambeau Field), Mike asked us to remember that “distance is not always measured in miles.”
